1. Export
Export the TopstepX trades CSV. One round trip per row. A file that does not match the column family is left for the column mapper.
Import
A TopstepX trading journal can start from the trades CSV. Tiedbook also offers an optional read-only sync for TopstepX. That sync cannot place, change, or cancel an order. It is not an auto-sync for other platforms.
Supported, via CSV export, plus optional read-only sync.
Export the TopstepX trades CSV. One round trip per row. A file that does not match the column family is left for the column mapper.
Open Imports, preview the rows, and confirm only when the fills match what you expect. Fees on the row are kept.
If you want read-only sync, create a key in TopstepX and paste it in Tiedbook. Order placement is blocked before a request is sent.
Rule room on the payout screen is derived from the trades you imported. Topstep’s help center is the official rule source.
Export the trades CSV from TopstepX. The supported shape is one round trip per row. A file that does not match that family opens the column mapper and is not silently imported. Fees on the row are kept, so you do not need a Tradovate-style preset unless the fee column is empty. Confirm only when the preview matches the dashboard you exported from.
The optional read-only key is separate from the CSV. Paste a key you created in TopstepX. Order placement is blocked before a request is sent. The key is not an auto-sync for Tradovate, NinjaTrader, or Rithmic. It also does not replace Topstep’s dashboard. Rule room in the journal is derived from the trades that landed. Topstep’s help center is the official rule, including the Maximum Loss Limit and the 40% consistency path.

| Entry and exit | Prices for the round trip. |
| Fees or P&L | Kept when the file has them. |
| Id | A real TopstepX id is an execution id. A missing id is not a shared fallback. |

Tie the session on Reconcile if you have a statement or a performance export. The Combine’s day is a futures session. Then read the Topstep page for the trail on the account size you hold: $2,000, $3,000, or $4,500 on the Combine sizes quoted there. The payout screen will not request the 90% payout. You still do that at Topstep, and the minimum they publish is $125.
Two Id-less files are not the same trade. A missing id does not become a shared synthetic id that would drop the second file. If the preview says the columns are a guess, treat it as Beta and do not confirm it as a finished import.
Use the trades CSV from TopstepX. Tiedbook expects one round trip per row, with entry, exit, prices, and fees when the file has them.
Topstep shows performance inside its own dashboard. Tiedbook is a separate journal that imports the CSV or uses the optional read-only key.
No. The optional sync is read-only and limited to TopstepX. Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and Rithmic are CSV imports.
The TopstepX import note in the docs walks the file. The firm page walks the rules. They are different pages on purpose.
The preview names every skipped row before a fill is saved.
