This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service, including the free Statement Check. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in the Terms.
1. Use the Service for your own data, lawfully
You may use the Service only to import, store, analyze and review trading records that you are entitled to use, for your own purposes, in compliance with all applicable laws and with the terms of your brokers, platforms and prop firms.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:
- share your Account, password, sign-in links or session with anyone, or let more than one person use one Account;
- access, or try to access, another user's Account or data, or any part of the Service you are not authorized to use;
- create Accounts in bulk or by automated means, or create multiple Accounts to obtain repeated free trials or refunds;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- connect or upload an API Key, credential or data that you do not own or are not authorized to use;
- use the Service in a way that breaches the terms or rules of a broker, platform or prop firm, including rules on account sharing, data export, third-party tools or copy trading;
- try to use the Service, or any integration, to place, modify or cancel orders, move funds or change account settings at any Third-Party Platform, or to circumvent the read-only restrictions we apply.
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or bypass any security or authentication measure, except through good-faith security research under our responsible disclosure terms;
- upload or transmit viruses, malware, malicious files or anything designed to harm or gain unauthorized access to systems or data, including files crafted to exploit our import parsers;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers or networks, including by denial-of-service attacks, flooding or sending unreasonable volumes of requests or files;
- use bots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated means to access the Service or extract data from it, other than search-engine indexing of our public marketing pages in line with robots.txt, or exports we provide;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, or try to derive its source code, presets or non-public interfaces, except where the law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
- upload content that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or that you are not permitted to share;
- upload personal information about other people without a lawful basis, or upload payment card numbers, government ID numbers, passwords or health information outside the fields designed for them;
- upload unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene or otherwise objectionable content in any notes, files or support messages;
- copy, frame, mirror, resell, sublicense or offer the Service (or any part of it, including our fee and rule presets) to others, or use it to build or benchmark a competing product;
- remove or alter proprietary notices or labels, including "Beta," "illustrative," "derived" or risk labels, or present Tiedbook output as official statements from a broker or prop firm.
- use the Service or its output to mislead anyone, for example by presenting edited, hypothetical or simulated results as actual trading results, or by using Tiedbook reports to market trading signals, courses or services with performance claims, without all disclosures the law requires;
- use the Service to commit fraud, money laundering, market manipulation or any other illegal activity;
- use the Service from a sanctioned country or region, or if you are a restricted person (see Section 26 of the Terms);
- send spam or unsolicited messages through any feature of the Service;
- abuse, harass or threaten our staff or contractors.
3. Fair use of resources
The Service is designed for individual traders. We may set reasonable limits on file sizes, import frequency, storage and API usage to protect the Service for everyone. If your use is unusually heavy, we will contact you before taking action, except in an emergency.
4. Reporting
Report suspected misuse or security issues to security@tiedbook.com, and copyright concerns under our Copyright (DMCA) Policy.
5. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may, depending on the severity: warn you; remove or disable content; restrict features; suspend or terminate your Account (Section 19 of the Terms); and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where practicable and lawful, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to respond. We are not obliged to monitor use of the Service, but we may investigate suspected breaches.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified as described in the Terms.
