Do you store the file before I confirm?
No. The preview is not the book. Confirm writes the trades.
Feature
You see rows, fills, skips, and the fee preset before you confirm. A batch can be undone.
An import starts as a file you already know how to download. Tradovate Orders, NinjaTrader 8 Executions, Rithmic order history, TopstepX trades, Sierra Chart fills, and Interactive Brokers Flex futures are supported when the columns match the fixture. Quantower, TradingView, and several other exports are Beta: they open the column mapper instead of pretending the columns are known.
Supported means the columns have been checked against a published file. Beta means you map the columns yourself and the preview shows the guess. Send a sample to support if a Beta file should become supported. The label is on the imports page so a Beta parser is not described as finished.
The preview lists rows, fills, trades, skips, and diagnostics before anything is stored. Canceled and working orders stay out of the book and stay visible in the skip list, so you can see why a row did not become a trade. You confirm, or you leave.
Every confirmed batch can be undone. The batch remembers the file name. Undo removes those trades. That is the recovery path when the wrong account or the wrong fee schedule was selected.
Commissions follow the file when the column is present, including an explicit zero. When the column is missing, the account’s fee schedule is applied and the preview shows the dollars it added. You should still check a day against the statement, because a schedule is a model of the fee, not the fee itself.
There is no general auto-sync and no broker password. The optional TopstepX sync reads accounts and trades. Place, modify, cancel, and close are rejected before a request is sent. A key you ask to save is encrypted. A one-time sync is not written down.
Sample CSVs live on the imports page so you can see a preview without using your own file. They are samples. They are not your book.
Supported and Beta are labels, not compliments. Supported means the columns are a finished parser for that export. Beta means the column mapper is open and you should read every mapped field before you confirm. A green preview on a Beta file is still Beta. Send nothing to a broker from this screen. There is no order ticket here.
On a phone the preview is a stack of labelled rows, not a table you scroll sideways. File name, row counts, skips, and the confirm button stay on the screen.
After confirm, the trades land on the account you picked. Reconciliation is the next step if you also have a statement file.
No. The preview is not the book. Confirm writes the trades.
The column mapper is open because that export is not a finished parser. Do not treat it as supported.
Yes. Undo batch removes the trades from that file.
Not in general. TopstepX has an optional read-only key. It cannot place an order.
The preview names every skipped row before a fill is saved.
