A prop firm consistency calculator. It divides the best day by total net profit. You type the cap, because plans do not share one percentage.
How the formula works
Consistency percent = best day profit ÷ total net profit × 100. If you type a cap and the result is above it, that day is larger than the cap you typed. Exceeding a cap is not automatically a failed account. Read the firm’s article.
A worked example
Best day $1,000, other profits $600, total $1,600. 1000 ÷ 1600 = 62.5%. A 50% cap is not met yet. MyFundedFutures uses 30% on Rapid end-of-day evaluations and 50% on Rapid intraday and Pro. MyFundedFutures' current rules are linked under the preset.
Topstep consistency rule calculator
On Topstep’s Express Funded Consistency path, consistency is the largest winning day divided by total net profit, with a 40% target. The preset types 40 and links the Maximum Loss Limit article, which is where that path is described alongside the trail. The Standard path is not a percentage. It is five winning days of at least $150. Do not put 40 into a Standard account and call it the rule.
Worked example: best day $800, total net profit $2,400. 800 divided by 2,400 is 33.3%, under a 40% target. Best day $1,200 on the same $2,400 is 50%, over the target. The calculator reports the percent. It does not fail the account. Topstep’s article is the rule. Their dashboard is the balance.

MyFundedFutures consistency rule calculator
MyFundedFutures publishes 30% on Rapid end-of-day evaluations and 50% on Rapid intraday and Pro evaluations. Builder is 50% only in the simulated funded stage. The Pro one-day pass has no consistency rule. Presets for the 30% and 50% plans link their consistency article. Last reviewed Oct 2026. Going over the percentage does not breach the account. You trade more days until the ratio is met.
A 30% cap is stricter than it looks on a short sample. Best day $600 and total profit $1,500 is 40%, which clears a loose glance and misses 30%. You would need the total to reach $2,000 before that $600 day is 30%. The extra $500 has to come from other days. MyFundedFutures says you keep trading until the ratio is met. The form will show 40.0% and the 30 you selected. It will not add the missing days for you.
Apex, Lucid, and Tradeify do not have a consistency percentage stored on this calculator. Their drawdown rules are on the firm pages and on the trailing drawdown presets. If your account has a cap, type it. Borrowing 40% or 50% from another firm is how a journal lies.

Questions
What cap does Topstep use?
On the Express Funded Consistency path the target is 40%: the largest winning day divided by total net profit. The Topstep firm page links the Maximum Loss Limit article that sits beside that path.
What is 40% of a $2,000 profit?
Eight hundred dollars. A larger best day is over a 40% cap. That sentence is arithmetic. The path on your Topstep account decides whether 40% applies.
Why is there no Apex preset?
This page does not have a sourced Apex consistency percentage. The Apex page quotes the trail, not a cap.
Does the best day include fees?
Use the net you are measuring. If the firm uses net profit after fees, a gross best day will not match their ratio.
Can the ratio fall without a losing day?
Yes. More winning days that are smaller than the best day raise the total and lower the percent.
