A prop firm trading journal is only useful if the day’s net matches the statement after fees, and if the drawdown on the screen is the one your firm published.

What gets imported
Tiedbook reads a futures CSV. Tradovate Orders, NinjaTrader 8 Executions, Rithmic Order History, ProjectX and TopstepX trades, Sierra Chart fills, and Interactive Brokers Flex futures are supported. Quantower, TradingView, and several other exports are Beta and open the column mapper. There is no general auto-sync. The only read-only sync is an optional TopstepX key, and it cannot place an order.
Rules stay sourced
Topstep, Apex, LucidFlex, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, and MyFundedFutures each have a page. The distances there are the firm’s published figures. The sample journal’s presets are examples. If the page and your dashboard disagree, the dashboard wins.
What the book shows after the import
Each Chicago session can sit next to a statement. The calendar uses that session, not midnight in the browser. Consistency and trailing floor on the payout screen are derived from the trades you imported. They are not a payout request.
How a prop account gets journaled
A prop firm trading journal here starts from the CSV the firm’s platform already downloads. If that file is Tradovate Orders or Rithmic Order History, the same supported import applies. TopstepX can also use the trades CSV, or an optional read-only key that cannot place an order. There is no Apex auto-sync, no Tradeify auto-sync, and no general broker sync.
You confirm the preview before any row is stored. Skipped rows stay listed. Fees come from the file when it has them, otherwise from the dated preset on the account. Then you import the statement, or the performance file, and tie the Chicago session. The firm’s dashboard remains the official balance. The journal shows the fills you actually imported.
Rule room on the payout screen is derived from those trades and from a preset you can read. If that screen and the firm disagree, the firm is right. The screen does not submit a payout and it does not see a fill you have not imported.

What the firm pages are for
Topstep, Apex, Lucid, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, and MyFundedFutures each have a page. The distances there are the firm’s published figures, not the sample preset in the demo book. The sample preset is an illustration. If the page and your dashboard disagree, the dashboard wins.
Use the trailing drawdown calculator when you want the arithmetic of peak minus trail, including a lock. Presets on that calculator fill the fields from the same sourced rules and show the source link. You can still type a different trail. The consistency calculator does the same for a percentage this site can quote.

A session is not a calendar date
Prop statements use the futures session. A fill after 5:00 PM Chicago belongs to the next session. A journal that cuts the day at local midnight will show a profit on the wrong date and will not tie. The calendar in Tiedbook uses the session. You can change the roll hour in Settings.
Consistency, when a firm defines it as the largest winning day divided by total net profit, uses those session days. A stock-style blotter that splits the evening session will change the best day and the ratio. That is why the session page sits next to the firm pages.

What this journal will not do
It will not log into the prop firm. It will not place an order. It will not call itself a free prop firm trading journal with broker sync. The calculators and the labelled sample book are free to open. The hosted journal is not a free plan.
It will not claim an AI review of your trades. Notes are the ones you write. Replay walks your fills in order. It does not replay the market and it does not explain a loss you did not write down.

Questions
Is this a free prop firm trading journal?
The calculators and the sample book are free to open. The hosted journal is a 7-day trial with no card, then $29 a month or $249 a year. It is not a free plan.
Does it log into the prop firm?
No. You export a file, or you paste a TopstepX read-only key. Order placement is blocked.
Which prop firms can I import?
Any account that downloads a supported futures file. The firm pages name Topstep, Apex, Lucid, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, and MyFundedFutures because those are the rule sets quoted here.
Does the payout screen request a payout?
No. It lists room and blockers from the trades you imported. The firm’s dashboard is where a request is made.
Are the sample presets the live rules?
No. The sample book’s presets are examples. The firm pages quote the help center and link it. Your dashboard wins if they differ.
Is there a read-only sync?
Only an optional TopstepX key. It cannot place an order. Every other platform on this site is a file import.
